Formed 1994. Origin of Symmetry (2001) and Absolution (2003) built the template—heavily compressed guitars, arp synths, operatic falsetto, conspiracy/sci-fi lyric frames. Knights of Cydonia (2006) stacks Morricone pastiche and stadium riff. They occupy the UK arena lane beside Radiohead’s experimental path: same generation, louder crowd-chant design.
